Josh Marlette

Warehouse Manager

Josh Marlette has been a key part of the ACS Heating & Air team for over two years, serving as Warehouse Manager. In his role, he keeps operations running smoothly by ensuring equipment and parts are organized, stocked, and ready for each job. He also manages inventory, supports fleet maintenance, and oversees warranty claims—helping technicians and installers work efficiently with minimal downtime.

Josh originally joined ACS during a career transition but quickly found a team where his ideas are heard and valued. While he works mostly behind the scenes, he understands that clear communication and meeting customer needs are essential to great service. Outside of work, Josh enjoys gaming, hiking, kayaking, cars, and exploring new technology.

Veronica

Dispatcher

Veronica is a Dispatcher at ACS Heating & Air, and she has been part of the team since November 2024. She manages the dispatch board for service technicians, creates work orders for repairs, completes routine maintenance, and schedules customer appointments. What Veronica appreciates about ACS is the family-oriented culture and the focus on customer satisfaction.

Veronica enjoys being part of ACS because the company balances growth with maintaining high service standards, and she takes pride in helping both customers and service technicians have a smooth experience. Outside of work, she enjoys crafting, playing cozy video games, participating in mutual aid efforts, and helping to feed those in need.

Debbie Bryant

Bookkeeper

Debbie Bryant is a Bookkeeper in the Accounting Department at ACS Heating and Air, where she has contributed to the company for 26 years. In her role, Debbie manages daily accounts – receivable and payable, and records project management costs. She also works closely with service technicians, installers, and the customer service team by assisting with purchasing parts, ordering equipment, and handling payment inquiries.

Debbie enjoys working in accounting and takes pride in being part of a professional, hardworking team that focuses on meeting the needs of the customers. Outside of work, Debbie loves spending time outdoors, staying actively involved in church activities, and enjoys at least one beach trip every year.

Melvin Gilchrist

Superintendent

Melvin Gilchrist is Superintendent and Payroll Assistant at  ACS Heating & Air, and has been an employee for 14 years.  He oversees daily field operations while supporting payroll, making sure technicians, installers, and office staff have the resources and guidance they need to keep projects running efficiently. Melvin works closely with the team to uphold ACS’s high standards, ensuring both employees and customers are  well supported.

His goal is to deliver excellent customer service, treat every  client with integrity and respect, and offer clear communication. Outside of work, Melvin enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors through hiking, cycling,  and fishing.

Erin Slaven

Project Management Associate

Erin Slaven has been a Project Management Assistant at ACS Heating & Air since October 2013. Her role at ACS spans over multiple departments, including project management, HR, payroll, billing, and service operations, helping ensure day-to-day processes run smoothly.

Erin was drawn to ACS by the welcoming, family-oriented culture she experienced from the beginning and enjoys the strong working relationships she has built over the years. She approaches customer interactions with empathy, always considering how she would want her own family to be treated in the same situation. Outside of work, Erin can often be found cheering on her daughters as they play soccer, traveling to St. Augustine and Tybee Island, and spending time near the water.

Corey Brandon

Commercial Project Manager

With more than 22 years at ACS Heating & Air, Corey manages commercial installation projects from start to finish — coordinating teams, materials, scheduling, and problem-solving to keep every project running smoothly. Known for his proactive approach, Corey works closely with customers and internal teams to anticipate challenges before they arise and deliver high-quality results at a fair value. He believes in honest communication, transparency, and following through on every commitment.

Outside of work, Corey enjoys watching his children play sports, tackling hands-on DIY projects with his wife, and traveling with family and friends.

Sandra Evans

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Sandra Evans is the Chief Financial Officer at ACS Heating & Air, working at the company for over 30 years. She is dedicated to ensuring the best experience for every customer, from the first point of contact until job completion, making sure to always take the time to listen and respond to customer needs.

What Sandra values most at ACS is the family-like environment and getting to work alongside a team that shares the same commitment to excellence and customer care. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking, running, and staying active in her church.

Rick Evans

Service Manager

Rick Evans is the Vice President of ACS Heating & Air and has spent 38 dedicated years at the company. He helps oversee all company operations with a focus on the service department, ensuring customers are served efficiently and professionally while simultaneously focusing on the well-being of employees.

Rick is committed to improving efficiency, maintaining high standards, and fostering a workplace culture that values both teamwork and customer satisfaction. Outside of work, he enjoys gaming, hiking, kayaking, spending time with his family, and volunteering at his church.
